For correct reassembly, follow the disassembly procedures in reverse order, paying particular attention to the individual operations mentioned specifically.
Seals, oil seals, circlips, clips, gaskets (e.g. copper, aluminium, fibre, etc.,) and self-locking nuts must always be changed.
The bearings have been calculated and designed for a set number of working hours. Therefore, as it is difficult to check the state of wear of bearings, it is recommended that you change bearings subject to large amounts of stress.
These suggestions are to be followed, as well as the dimensional checks for the individual components, described previously. All the components must be cleaned thoroughly; the bearings and all other parts subject to wear must be lubricated with engine oil before they are assembled.
The screws and nuts must be secured at the specified torque values (refer to the table at the end of this section).
