Dry, multi-plate clutch: 8 driven plates, (7 flat, 1 concave) + 7 drive plates with 14 friction surfaces. Clutch is hydraulically controlled from a lever on the LH handlebar. Primary reduction between gearbox and engine by straight-tooth gears.

Selector drum and fork gear selector system. A lever linkage controls selector drum rotation.

6-speed gearbox.

Primary reduction: 59/32=1.84

Final drive ratio (sprocket/crown): 15/42
