Warning! Do not insert your fingers between the hand control lever and the steering wheel grip. Incorrect hand position can impair control of the lever, causing the motorcycle to lose control, which can result in serious injury or death.
See Figure 5. Manual Clutch Lever (1) located on the left side of the steering wheel, it is controlled by the fingers of the left hand.
1. To fully release the clutch, slowly pull the manual clutch lever away from the handlebar.
2. Engage first gear with the gear lever. See _ chapter Motorcycle operation, Gear shift.
3. Slowly release the manual clutch lever to release the clutch.
The clutch switch is located on the left side of the steering wheel, in the group of switches on the left side of the steering wheel. It allows the driver to start the motorcycle in any gear (and in neutral position), as soon as the clutch lever is released (pulled in). If the clutch is not released, the motorcycle will not start.
