Removal
To remove the fuel cock, unscrew the fuel tank mounting bolts and lift the tank (see "Fuel tank - removal and installation").
1. Disconnect the vacuum and fuel hoses from the fuel valve.

2. Using a 27 mm wrench, unscrew the nut securing the fuel valve to the tank and remove the valve.

Disassembly
1. Using a 10 mm wrench, unscrew the faucet drain plug.

2. Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the four screws securing the fuel valve cover.

3. Carefully remove the lid.

4. Remove the spring.

5. Carefully, so as not to damage the rubber membrane, remove the membrane housing together with the membrane and shut-off valve.

6. Remove the rubber membrane with the valve from the housing.

After disassembling, it is necessary to wash all metal parts of the tap with carburetor cleaner or solvent to remove resin deposits.

Fuel tap parts
Caution! Do not wash the vacuum valve parts and membranes with carburetor cleaner or other strong solvents. The rubber parts of the valve and the membrane material are destroyed by contact with them. Use only clean gasoline, diesel fuel or kerosene for cleaning.

It is necessary to thoroughly wash the sump and the internal cavities of the tap with carburetor cleaner, and then blow it out with compressed air
We inspect the membrane and the vacuum valve. There should be no cracks, tears or other mechanical damage on the membrane material. The rubber seal of the vacuum valve should also not be damaged or broken. If any parts of the membrane are damaged, it must be replaced as an assembly.
Assembly
We assemble the fuel valve in the reverse order.
Installation
We install the fuel tap in the reverse order, orienting the tap so that the tap flag is in the most convenient position for switching it.
