Remove the carburetors.
For the US model, remove the pilot screw plug as follows: punch a hole in the plug and pry there with an awl or other suitable tool.
Turn in the pilot screw and count the number of turns until it seats fully but not tightly, and then remove the screw. This is to set the screw to its original position when assembling.
When removing the jet needle, pull straight out the holder [A] from the vacuum piston [B].
Remove:
Warning! Gasoline is extremely flammable and can be explosive under certain conditions. Turn the ignition switch OFF. Do not smoke. Make sure the area is well-ventilated and free from any source of flame or sparks; this includes any appliance with a pilot light.
Note. Carburetor can be disassembled in the joined state.

Caution! During carburetor disassembly, be careful not to damage the diaphragm. Never use a sharp edge to remove the diaphragm.

Remove:
- Holder [A]
- Spring [B]
- Washer [C]
- Jet Needle [D]
