Checking the fuel line (Primary injector) (Yamaha YZF-R1 Y(C))

The following procedure applies to all of the fuel, vacuum and breather hoses.

1. Remove:

• Rider seat

Refer to "GENERAL CHASSIS".

2. Remove:

• Fuel tank

Refer to "FUEL TANK".

• Air filter case

Refer to "AIR FILTER CASE".

3. Check:

• Fuel hose "1"
• Vacuum hoses "2"
• Breather hose "3"
• Over flow hose "4"

Cracks/damage → Replace.

Loose connection → Connect properly.

Before removing the fuel hoses, place a few rags in the area under where it will be removing.

Notice: Make sure the fuel tank breather hose is routed correctly.

4. Install:

• Fueltank

Refer to "FUEL TANK".

5. Install:

• Rider seat

Refer to "GENERAL CHASSIS".
