1. We clamp the shock absorber with the upper mount in a vise through wooden spacers and, using special ties, compress the shock absorber spring, as shown in the photo.
2. We shift the buffer gasket of the shock absorber rod down.
3. Remove the spring support washer from the shock absorber rod.
4. Remove the spring from the shock absorber.

Installation
We install the spring in the reverse order.
The spring preload is adjusted by turning the adjusting sleeve with a radius wrench from the standard tool kit. There are five possible preload settings in total.
Attention! Both shock absorbers must have the same spring preload.
