Fuel tank removal (Aprilia RS125/3)

Read 1.2.1 carefully.

Torque wrench settings:
  • Fuel tank rear mounting bolt (3): 7 Nm (0.7 Kgm).

Note. It is not necessary to drain the fuel.


Lift the fuel tank; see 2.9.1.

Withdraw the fuel hose (1) from the carburetor.



Cut the ties and withdraw the fuel tank drain hoses.



Remove the rod and lower the tank.



Undo the nut (2) and remove the screw (3).

Collect the washer (4), the two grommets (5) and the back spacer (6).



Remove the fuel tank.
