Release the rear lock and remove the seat.
Unscrew the two screws (A) fixing the front cover to the tank support.
Remove the cover disengaging it from the ignition switch.
Unhook the spring front spring clip (B) from the tank support.
Raise the tank and release the prop rod (C) from its support on the vertical cylinder head.
Rotate the rod and push it downwards until it rests on the head.
Rest the tank on the prop rod as shown in the drawing.
Warning! To prevent fuel leaking out of the breather in the fuel filler cap, the tank must have less than 5 litres of fuel in it (the Reserve warning light on the instrument panel will be lit).
