Warning! Tires, tubes, air valves and caps must be in the correct position on the wheel rim. For further information, please contact your Harley-Davidson dealer. If the tire is in the wrong position, the tire bead may be damaged due to the tire slipping on the wheel rim, or the tire may fail completely. This in turn can lead to serious injury or death.
Warning! Use only tires recommended by Harley-Davidson. For further information on this, consult your Harley-Davidson dealer. Use of tires from other manufacturers (not recommended by Harley-Davidson) may degrade the performance of the motorcycle. This, in turn, can result in severe injury or death.
Tubeless tires are used on all Harley-Davidson cast and disc wheels.
Tire dimensions are indicated on the side of the tire. The dimensions of the inner chamber are printed on the chamber.
Warning! The front and rear tires of a Harley-Davidson motorcycle are not the same. If the front and rear tires are swapped, they may fail, resulting in serious injury or death.
Warning! Do not inflate tires above the maximum pressure indicated on the sidewall of the tire. Tires inflated to higher pressures may burst. This, in turn, can lead to severe injury and death.
Warning! Harley-Davidson motorcycle tires are equipped with wear indicator stripes that run horizontally across the area of the tire that comes into contact with the road surface. When wear bars become visible and only 1/32 of an inch of tread remains (0.8 mm), the tire must be replaced immediately. Using worn tires can adversely affect the stability and handling of the motorcycle. This, in turn, can result in severe injury or death. Use only tires recommended by Harley-Davidson.
