Front wheel — removal (Suzuki DL1000 V-Strom)

• Remove the right and left brake calipers (1).
• Loosen two axle pinch bolts (2) on the right front fork leg.

Caution: Do not operate the brake lever while removing the calipers.

• Slightly loosen the front axle by using the special tool.

• Raise the front wheel off the ground and support the motorcycle with a jack or a wooden block.
• Remove the front axle and the front wheel.
• Remove the spacer (3).

Note: After removing the front wheel, fit the calipers temporarily to the original positions.
