Unscrew the retaining bolts and remove the two brake calipers from the fork legs.
Caution! Do not operate the brake lever when the calipers are disassembled. Operating he brake lever when the calipers are removed from their operating position will cause the leakage of brake fluid from the pad actuating pistons.
Unscrew and remove the nut (2) from the LH end of the wheel spindle.
Disconnect the speedometer drive cable.
Loosen the spindle pinch bolts (1) on the fork legs.
Working from the left side, use a plastic hammer to knock the wheel spindle out to the other side.
Slide the wheel out from between the fork legs. On the left side, recover the driver with its seal ring and the speedometer drive.
Note. Proceed with an overhaul of the wheel as per the instructions given in the "Wheel overhaul" section.
