A motorcycle is a wonderful vehicle that can give you an incomparable feeling of power and freedom. However, it also imposes certain restrictions that you must obey, since even the best motorcycles are subject to the laws of physics.
Regular care and maintenance are very important to maintain the integrity and performance of your motorcycle. Moreover, what is true for a motorcycle is also true for a driver: high performance depends on good form. Riding a motorcycle under the influence of medications, drugs and alcohol is, of course, absolutely excluded. A motorcycle driver - much more than a car driver - must always be in the best mental and physical shape. Under the influence of even a small dose of alcohol, there is a tendency to take unnecessary risks.
Protective clothing is as important for a motorcycle driver as seat belts are for a car driver and his passengers. Always wear a full motorcycle suit (made of leather or wear-resistant synthetic materials with protective inserts), sturdy boots, motorcycle gloves and a well-fitting helmet.
However, optimal protective clothing should not encourage recklessness. Although a full-face helmet and suit provide a feeling of absolute safety and security, the motorcyclist is always vulnerable. Drivers who lack critical self-control tend to take risks at high speeds and rely on luck. This is especially dangerous in wet weather. A good motorcyclist always rides safely, predictably and responsibly - avoiding all dangers, including those posed by others.
