Removing the ABS ECU
1. Remove:
- ABS ECU «1»
Note: When removing the ABS ECU, take care not to damage the ABS ECU or ABS ECU couplers.
A. FZ1-SA; B. FZ1-NA
2. Remove:
- ABS ECU coupler «1»
- ABS ECU coupler «2»
Notes:
- Do not pull the ABS ECU leads to remove the ABS ECU couplers.
- Always press on the locks «3» to disconnect the ABS ECU couplers from the ABS ECU.

Checking the ABS ECU
1. Check:
- Terminals «1» of the ABS ECU. Cracks/damages → Replace ABS ECU
- Terminals «2» of the ABS ECU coupler. Connection defective, contaminated, come-off → Correct or clean.
Note: If the ABS ECU couplers are clogged with mud or dirt, clean with compressed air.
