ECT Sensor inspection

The engine coolant temperature sensor is installed at the thermostat body. (5-46)

ECT Sensor removal and installation

• Remove the right air cleaner box. (6-13)
• Remove the ECT sensor from the thermostat body.
• Install the ECT sensor in the reverse order of removal.

ECT sensor: 18 Nm (1.8 kgf·m, 13.0 lb·ft)
