Inner and outer tubes

Inspect the inner tube outer surface and the outer tube inner surface for scratches. If any defects are found, replace them with the new ones.

Fork spring

Measure the fork spring free length. If it is shorter than the service limit, replace it with a new one.

Front fork spring free length:

• Service limit: 435 mm (17.1 in)

Cylinder

Inspect the cylinder and cylinder ring (1) for damage. If any defect is found, replace them with a new one.
