Warning! Always adjust the spring preload equally on both fork legs to prevent poor handling and loss of stability.

Both front fork legs are equipped with spring preload adjusting bolts. The right front fork leg is equipped with a rebound damping force screw, and the left fork leg is equipped with a compression damping force adjustment screw.

Warning! To avoid damaging the adjustment mechanism, never attempt to turn the bolts beyond the maximum or minimum settings.

Spring pre-compression

1. Spring preload adjustment bolt

To increase spring preload and thereby stiffen the suspension, turn the bolt on each fork leg in the direction (A). To reduce spring preload and thereby give the suspension less rigidity, turn the bolts on each fork leg in the direction (b).

Align the corresponding groove on the adjuster with the top of the front fork end bolt.

1. Current installation; 2. Front fork tip bolt

Spring preload settings:
  • Minimum (soft setting): 8
  • Standard: 5.5
  • Maximum (hard tuning): 0

Rebound damping force

1. Rebound damping adjustment screw

The rebound damping force is adjustable only on the right leg of the front fork. To increase the rebound damping force, turn the adjusting screw in the direction (A). To reduce the rebound damping force, turn the adjusting screw in the direction (b).

Note: Be sure to make this adjustment on the right front fork leg.

Rebound damping force settings:
  • Minimum (soft setting): 26 clicks per direction (b) *
  • Standard: 18 clicks per direction (b) *
  • Maximum (hard tuning): 1 click in direction (b) *

*When the adjustment screw is turned completely in the direction (A)

Damping compression force

1. Compression damping adjustment screw

The damping compression force is adjustable only on the left front fork. To increase the compression damping force, turn the screw in the direction (A). To reduce the compression damping force, turn the screw in the direction (b).

Note: Be sure to make this adjustment on the left front fork leg.

Compression damping force settings:
  • Minimum (soft setting): 26 clicks per direction (b) *
  • Standard: 5 clicks per direction (b) *
  • Maximum (hard tuning): 1 click in direction (b) *

*When the adjustment screw is turned completely in the direction (A).

Note. Although the total number of clicks of the damping force adjustment mechanism may not correspond exactly to the above parameters due to slight variations inherent in the manufacturing process of the mechanisms, the actual number of clicks always represents the full range of adjustment. To obtain an accurate adjustment, it would be advisable to check the number of clicks of each damping force adjustment mechanism and adjust the settings accordingly.
