Replacing the front brake pads (Aprilia RS125/3)

Read 1.2.1 and 2.12.3 carefully.
Place the motorcycle on the side stand.
Remove the brake caliper cover (1).
Release the retaining ring (2).

Withdraw the pin (3) and collect the clip.
Remove the brake pads (4).
Fit two new brake pads taking care to align the holes with the caliper holes.
Position the clip and insert the pin (3).
Fit the retaining ring (2).
Refit the caliper cover (1)
Check brake fluid level; see 2.12.1.
Place the motorcycle on the side stand.
Remove the brake caliper cover (1).

Release the retaining ring (2).

Withdraw the pin (3) and collect the clip.
Remove the brake pads (4).

Warning! Do not operate the brake lever with the brake pads removed, or the brake caliper pistons might fall out leading to loss of brake fluid.
Fit two new brake pads taking care to align the holes with the caliper holes.
Warning! The brake pads must always be replaced in pairs. Ensure they become properly seated in the brake caliper.
Position the clip and insert the pin (3).
Fit the retaining ring (2).
Refit the caliper cover (1)
Check brake fluid level; see 2.12.1.
