1. See Figure 2-217. Assemble the screws (1), washers (2) the license plate and the nuts (3) to the license plate bracket.

2. Tighten to 10-15 in·lbs (1.1-1.7 Nm).
XL 883N, XL 1200X
1. See Figure 2-218. Move the reflector bracket (1) to the lowest mounting holes.

2. Assemble the screws (2), washers (3), license plate and nuts (4) to the license plate bracket.
3. Tighten to 10-15 in·lbs (1.1-1.7 Nm).
