Warning! Do not remove the filler cap when the engine is hot. The cooling system is under pressure and hot coolant and steam may escape causing severe burns. Allow engine to cool before servicing the cooling system.
2. See Figure 1-11. Check coolant level in overflow bottle with coolant cold and motorcycle on jiffy stand. If level is below COLD FULL line on tank, remove cap from tank and add Harley-Davidson, FULLY FORMULATED ANTIFREEZE until fluid level reaches COLD FULL line.
