Inspections I and III

Note: Only correct the coolant level when the engine is cold.

• Lift the seat at the front.

• Open the left-hand side case.

Caution: Anti-freeze protection must be guaranteed to at least -30°C (-22°F). Use only nitrite-free long-term antifreeze and corrosion inhibitor.

Do not top up expansion tank past the MAX mark (arrow).

• Remove the cap from the expansion tank (1).
• Check antifreeze concentration in the expansion tank, top up antifreeze if necessary.

Note: Top up with coolant in a mix ratio of 50 % antifreeze, 50 % water.

• Check coolant level in the expansion tank, top up coolant if necessary.
