Spring
Measure the length of the spring in the free position. If the spring is shorter than required, replace the spring with a new one.
Spring length limit: 492 mm (19.4 inches)
Fork blade and pen body
Check the working surface of the pen and the pen body for mechanical damage. If damage is detected, replace with new parts.
Rod and rod guide
Check the smooth movement of the shock absorber rod by hand (1).
The rod should slide smoothly. If a malfunction is detected, replace with a new one.
Check the rod guide (2) for damage. If damage is detected, replace with a new part.
Rebound adjustment mechanism
Check the rebound adjustment mechanism for wear or damage. If a malfunction is detected, replace with a new one.
