Loosen the clip on the infeed pipe (M) of the OUT fillers and the return pipe (R) of the IN filler.

Disconnect the fuel pipes from the fillers but leave them attached to the throttle body.

Caution! During this operation the tank must be empty. If the tank is not empty, fuel will leak from the return pipe union (R).

At reassembly, fit the breather tube (1) as shown in the figure to prevent it being squashed between the tank and the head.

Strap the breather tube to the infeed pipe (M) with a cable tie (A).

Remove the spring clip (4) and the washer (5) from the end of the pin (6).

Slide out the pin and recover the other washer (5) and the bushes (7).

Remove the tank unit from the bike.

When refitting the tank, centre the tank on the frame using the adjuster slots for the frame fixing screws (8).

New fuel pipes and hoses must be positioned and strapped to the frame tubes with cable ties (A) as show in the figure.

Caution! Do not overtighten the cable Overtightening will kink or throttle the pipes and hoses.
