Clutch cylinder and hose routing (Ducati ST2)

When fitting a new hose between the clutch master cylinder and the clutch drive, care must be taken to position connectors on the cylinder and the drive at the correct angles.

Warning! Incorrectly positioned hoses can cause clutch faults. Incorrectly positioned hoses can interfere with moving parts.

Fit and position clutch hoses as shown in the figures.

Note. For a diagnosis of clutch faults, see the "Engine " section.

Caution! When you have completed this operation, fill the clutch fluid reservoir to the MIN level mark.

Fix the clutch hose to the frame along the route shown in the drawing. Fix the hose to the frame at the points shown using cable ties and clips (A).

Caution! Do not overtighten cable ties and clips (A). Do not squash or pinch the clutch hose.
