Removal



1. Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the nut securing the cable to the instrument panel.



2. Remove the cable from the dashboard by moving it downwards.



3. Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the cable from the gearbox on the front wheel axle.



4. Move the cable down and disengage it from the gearbox.



5. Remove the cable from the motorcycle.

Lubricate the cable as described on "Control cables - checking and lubrication".

Installation



We install in the reverse order, laying the cable along the left leg of the front fork.
