Generator performance without load (Suzuki DR-Z 250)

Remove the seat (section 5-3).

Disconnect the generator connector.

Start the engine and set the speed to 5000 rpm.

Measure the AC voltage between the generator power wires using a multi-tester. If the voltage is not within the specified value, replace the generator with a new one.
