Starter assembly (Suzuki DR-Z 250)

Reassemble and install the starter in the reverse order of disassembly and removal. Please note the following points:

Warning! Replace the removed O-rings with new ones to prevent oil leakage.

Lubricate the oil seal lip with SUZUKI SUPER GREASE "A".

For USA: 99000-25030: SUZUKI SUPER GREASE "A"
For other countries: 99000-25010: SUZUKI SUPER GREASE "A"

Apply a small amount of SUZUKI MOLY PASTE lubricant to the rotor shaft.

99000-25140: SUZUKI MOLY PASTE

Position the front part of the magneto in the starter to the drive gear of the rotor shaft.

Match the position of the mark on the starter with the mark on the body.



Apply a small amount of THREAD LOCK "1342" thread locking compound to the starter housing bolts.

99000-32050: THREAD LOCK "1342"

Apply SUZUKI SUPER GREASE "A" lubricant to the O-ring.

For USA: 99000-25030: SUZUKI SUPER GREASE "A"
For other countries: 99000-25010: SUZUKI SUPER GREASE "A"
