Voltage regulator — check (Suzuki DR-Z 250)

Remove the air filter cover (section 5-3).

Remove the battery cover.

Measure the DC voltage between the positive and negative terminals of the battery using a multi-tester. If the voltage is not within the specified value, inspect the generator and regulator/rectifier (6-7 and 6-8).

Note. When performing this measurement, make sure the battery is fully charged.
