1. "TRIP" button; 2. Odometer/trip meter
The speedometer assembly includes a digital odometer and a trip meter. The speedometer shows the speed of movement. The odometer shows the total mileage of the motorcycle. The trip meter shows the distance traveled since it was last reset to zero. Pressing the "TRIP" button switches between the "ODO" odometer mode and the "TRIP" trip meter mode. To reset the trip meter to zero, invoke this mode by pressing the "TRIP" button, then press the "TRIP" button again and hold it down for at least one second. The distance meter for a given trip can be used to estimate the distance that can be driven with a full tank of fuel. This information allows you to plan future refueling stops.
Note. This motorcycle is not equipped with a tachometer, but it does have a built-in speed limiter that prevents the engine speed from rising above 6800 rpm and the motorcycle from traveling faster than 175 km/h.
