The positions of the fuel tap lever are shown in the figures, and their descriptions are given below.
OFF (CLOSED)
1. The arrow icon indicates the "OFF" position " ("CLOSED").
When the valve lever is set to this position, the fuel supply is shut off. Always set the valve lever to this position when the engine is not running.
ON (OPEN)
1. Arrow icon indicates "ON" position " ("OPEN").
When the valve lever is set to this position, fuel is supplied to the carburetors. When starting the engine and while driving, set the fuel cock lever to this position.
RES (RESERVE)
1. The arrow icon indicates the "RES" position " ("RESERVE").
It stands for "Reserve". When you set the fuel valve lever to this position, you can use the reserve fuel supply. If you run out of gas while driving, move the tap lever to this position. If this happens, add fuel as soon as possible and remember to turn the valve lever to the "ON" position. " ("OPEN").
