Note. To shift the transmission into neutral, press the shift pedal repeatedly until it reaches the end of its travel, then lift it slightly.
Carefully!
- Even when in neutral, do not coast for long periods of time with the engine stopped or tow the motorcycle over long distances.
- The gearbox only receives adequate lubrication when the engine is running. Insufficient lubrication can damage the gearbox.
- Always use the clutch when changing gears to prevent damage to the engine, transmission and power train, which are unable to withstand the shock loads caused by power shifting.
