If the motorcycle will not be used for a long period, we recommend that you take care of the following first.

• Clean the motorcycle.
• Empty the fuel tank completely by removing the drain plug and seal.
• Pour some engine oil into the holes where the spark plugs are screwed into. Rotate/tilt the motorcycle in different directions so that the oil spreads over the entire inner surface of the cylinders.
• Place the motorcycle on the slipway.
• Disconnect and remove the battery. If the motorcycle will not be used for more than a month, it will additionally need to be recharged.

Cover the motorcycle with a special cover that will protect the motorcycle from external damage and moisture. This cover can be purchased at Ducati stores.
