Security status indicator (Harley V-Rod VRSCA)

See Figure 17. The illuminated key icon on the speedometer indicates the status of the Harley-Davidson Intelligent Safety System.



Enabled: The key icon flashes approximately once every 3 seconds. This means the security system is turned on.

Off: After the ignition switch/headlight switch is turned to the IGNITION position and the system is turned off, the key icon will remain illuminated for approximately four seconds and then turn off.

Service: If the key icon remains illuminated for more than four seconds, the module requires service.
