Prepare
1. Remove main fuse. See Power disconnect.
Remove
1. See Figure 8-11. Remove cover (4).
2. Remove ignition coil.
- a. Disconnect cables (2, 3).
- b. Remove screws (5).
- c. Disconnect ignition coil connector.
- d. Remove ignition coil (6).
- e. Remove outer bracket (7).
3. Remove inner bracket.
- a. Remove screws (8).
- b. Remove inner bracket (1).
Install

| Ignition coil screws | 9.0-11.0 Nm | 80-97 in·lbs |
1. See Figure 8-11. Install inner bracket.
- a. Install inner bracket (1).
- b. Install screws (8). Tighten to 22.5-27.5 Nm (17-20 ft·lbs).
2. Install ignition coil.
- a. Install screws (5) through ignition coil (6) and outer bracket (7).
- b. Connect ignition coil connector.
- c. Attach ignition coil assembly to inner bracket with screws (5). Tighten to 9.0-11.0 Nm (80-97 in·lbs).
- d. Connect cables (2, 3).
3. Install cover (4).
