Prepare



1. Remove main fuse. See Power disconnect.

2. Remove radiator shroud. See Removing and installing radiator.

Remove



Voltage Regulator

1. See Figure 8-8. Remove voltage regulator.
  • a. Disconnect voltage regulator connectors (5, 6).
  • b. Remove voltage regulator screws (1).
  • c. Remove voltage regulator (2).

Voltage Regulator Bracket



1. See Figure 8-8. Remove voltage regulator bracket.
  • a. Remove bracket screws (3).
  • b. Remove bracket (4).

Install



FASTENERTORQUE VALUE
Voltage regulator bracket screws22.5-27.5 Nm17-20 ft·lbs
Voltage regulator screws9.0-11.0 Nm80-97 in·lbs

Voltage Regulator Bracket



1. See Figure 8-8. Install voltage regulator bracket.
  • a. Install bracket (4).
  • b. Install bracket screws (3). Tighten to 22.5-27.5 Nm (17-20 ft·lbs).

Voltage Regulator



1. See Figure 8-8. Install voltage regulator.
  • a. Install voltage regulator (2).
  • b. Install voltage regulator screws (1). Tighten to 9.0-11.0 Nm (80-97 in·lbs).
  • c. Connect stator and voltage regulator connectors (5, 6).
