1. After stopping the motorcycle, put the gearbox in neutral, turn the steering wheel all the way to the left, turn off the ignition and remove the key from the ignition switch.
2. Use the side stand to keep the motorcycle parked. Place the motorcycle on a firm, level surface to prevent it from tipping over.
If you must stop on an incline, point the front wheel of the motorcycle toward the incline to reduce the risk of the motorcycle moving out of its support or tipping over.
3. Lock your motorcycle handlebars to prevent theft (see here).
Make sure that flammable materials such as dry grass and leaves do not come into contact with the exhaust system while the motorcycle is riding, idling, or parked.
