Checking front brake disc for lateral runout (BMW F650GS)

Caution! Do not operate the brake with the wheel removed.

Remove front wheel. See Group 36.



Mount front wheel on balancing stand, BMW No. 36 3 617, with balancing shaft, BMW No. 36 3 600.

Using dial gauge, BMW No. 00 2 510, measure lateral runout.

Lateral runout "A": max. 0.25 mm (0.010 in).
