Removing and installing roll-over valve (BMW R1150GS)

Caution:
  • Fuel is flammable and a hazard to health.
  • Observe relevant safety regulations.


Drain fuel tank, if necessary.

Remove the fuel filler cap.

Remove the reducer unit with roll-over valve (1) and disconnect the hoses.

Remove the roll-over valve.

Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.

Secure non-reusable hose clips with pliers, BMW # 13 1 500.

Caution: Make sure that O-ring seal (2) is correctly seated. After installing, check fuel filler cap for leaks.
