The position of the gear change and brake pedals in relation to the footrests can be adjusted to suit rider preferences.
To adjust the position of the gear change pedal, proceed as follows:
Clamp the rod (A) and loosen the lock nuts (B) and (C).
Turn the rod (A) until the gear change pedal is in the position required.
Tighten the two lock nuts.
To adjust the position of the rear brake pedal, proceed as follows:
Loosen the lock nut (D).
Turn the pedal travel adjuster screw (E) until the pedal is in the position required.
Tighten the lock nut (D).
Operate the pedal by hand and check that there is 1.5 to 2 mm/ 0.059 to 0.078 in. of free pedal travel before the brake begins to operate. If this is not the case, adjust the length of the brake cylinder control rod as follows:
Loosen the lock nut (F) on the brake cylinder control rod.
To increase the amount of free pedal travel, screw the rod further into the fork (G). To decrease the amount of free pedal travel, unscrew the rod away from the fork (G).
Tighten the lock nut (F) and check the amount of free pedal travel.
To adjust the position of the gear change pedal, proceed as follows:
Clamp the rod (A) and loosen the lock nuts (B) and (C).

Note. Lock nut (B) has a left-hand thread.
Turn the rod (A) until the gear change pedal is in the position required.
Tighten the two lock nuts.
To adjust the position of the rear brake pedal, proceed as follows:
Loosen the lock nut (D).
Turn the pedal travel adjuster screw (E) until the pedal is in the position required.
Tighten the lock nut (D).

Operate the pedal by hand and check that there is 1.5 to 2 mm/ 0.059 to 0.078 in. of free pedal travel before the brake begins to operate. If this is not the case, adjust the length of the brake cylinder control rod as follows:
Loosen the lock nut (F) on the brake cylinder control rod.
To increase the amount of free pedal travel, screw the rod further into the fork (G). To decrease the amount of free pedal travel, unscrew the rod away from the fork (G).
Tighten the lock nut (F) and check the amount of free pedal travel.
