Prepare
1. Remove main fuse. See Power disconnect.
2. Remove seat. See Removing and installing seat.
3. Remove rear fender. See Rear fender.
Remove
1. See Figure 3-66. Remove license plate module.
- a. Disconnect electrical connectors (4).
- b. Remove screws (3).
- c. Lower rear of license plate module (1). Pull away from frame.

Install

1. See Figure 3-66. Install rear license plate module.
- a. Position license plate module (1).
- b. Place tab (2) over frame.
- c. Install screws (3). Tighten to 2.3-3.3 Nm (21-29 in·lbs).
- d. Connect electrical connectors (4).
