- Clean the oil strainer using compressed air.
- Install the oil strainers 1.
Note: Align the boss А with the groove В of crankcase.
- Apply SUZUKI SUPER GREASE "A" to the O-rings.
- 99000-25010: SUZUKI SUPER GREASE "A" or equivalent
Caution: Use a new O-ring to prevent oil leakage.
Note: Align the oil strainer С with the lower crankcase hole D.
Oil pressure regulator
- Apply SUZUKI SUPER GREASE "A" to the O-rings and press in the oil pressure regulator 1 to the lower crankcase.
- 99000-25010: SUZUKI SUPER GREASE "A" or equivalent
Caution: Use a new O-ring to prevent oil leakage.
Oil pan
- Apply SUZUKI BOND to the mating surface of the oil pan.
- 99000-31110: SUZUKI BOND "1215" or equivalent
Note: Use of SUZUKI BOND is as follows:
- Make surfaces free from moisture, oil, dust and other foreign materials.
- Apply to distorted surfaces as it forms a comparatively thick film.
- Install the oil pan.
Note:
- Fit the new gasket washers to the oil pan bolts А.
- Fit the clamp В and stay С to the bolts.
Caution: Use a new gasket washer to prevent oil leakage.
- Tighten the oil pan bolts diagonally.
