Adjusting the shock absorber spring
Adjust by rotating the nut (1) spring length value (A), equal to 269.4 mm.
Tighten the locknut (2) with appropriate effort.
Lock nut: 90 Nm (9.0 kgf-m)

Warning! Do not set the spring length to less than 257 mm.
Adjusting the shock absorber compression force
After installing the suspension, adjust the compression and rebound values as follows. Turn the adjustment screws fully clockwise, then set the standard value by unscrewing the screws counterclockwise.
Standard value:
- Compression adjustment screw (A): 1¼ turns counterclockwise
- Rebound adjustment screw (IN): 3 turns counterclockwise
Final inspection and adjustment
After installing the rear wheel, adjust the following values before driving.
- Drive chain (sagging) (section 2-14).
- Tire pressure (section 2-19).
