Attention!
- Installing non-recommended accessories or making unauthorized modifications to your motorcycle could result in a serious or fatal accident.
- You must follow all instructions in this manual regarding the use of accessories and any modifications to the motorcycle.
Optional equipment
We strongly recommend using only genuine Honda accessories that are designed and tested specifically for your motorcycle. Because Honda cannot test all accessories available on the market, you are solely responsible for the selection, installation and use of non-Honda accessories. Please contact your authorized dealer for assistance and always follow the guidelines below:
Make sure that the installed accessories do not obscure the lights, reduce ground clearance or ride angle, change the travel of the suspension or steering wheel, affect your seating position, or interfere with the use of controls.
Make sure electrical equipment does not exceed the capabilities of the motorcycle's electrical system. Failure of a fuse can result in lights turning off or loss of engine power.
Do not operate the motorcycle with a trailer or sidecar. The motorcycle is not designed to be used with a trailer or sidecar, and their use will seriously impair the handling of the motorcycle.
Design changes
It is strongly recommended that you do not remove any original equipment from the motorcycle or make any modifications that alter the design or performance of the motorcycle. Such modifications will seriously affect the handling, stability and braking performance of the motorcycle and will render the motorcycle unsafe for use.
Removing or changing the design of lighting devices, the exhaust system, or the exhaust gas toxicity control system will make the operation of the motorcycle illegal.
