The tachometer needle moves up and then returns to its original position.
The general layout of the screen shown to the user is as follows:
- ambient temperature;
- watch;
- selected control program;
- speedometer;
- odometer, mileage log or additional functions.
The top of the dashboard displays the following functions:
MODE 1
- gear engaged: since this value requires calculation, it is displayed with a slight delay only while driving, if the clutch handle is not depressed;
- watch (in 24 or 12 hour mode without AM/PM indication);
- measured ambient temperature (in°C or°F).
MODE 2
- Turnover number and turnaround time
The central area displays the following functions:
- speed (speedometer);
- engine temperature scale.
The following functions are displayed at the bottom:
- odometer (total mileage);
- trip computer data;
- possible warnings.
2 km after the low fuel warning light comes on, the digital display shows the distance traveled when the fuel level is low.
If this data is displayed, it is cleared when any paddle is pressed, and is displayed again after 60 seconds.
If the vehicle is using reserve fuel, this warning lamp will illuminate 60 seconds after the key is turned to «KEY ON».
If the ambient temperature is less than or equal to 3°C, the ice warning icon will appear on the display.
If the maintenance interval threshold is exceeded, a wrench icon is displayed. This indication can only be cleared during routine maintenance by an authorized Aprilia dealer or service station.
If the next scheduled service is less than 300 km away, the wrench icon flashes for 5 seconds after the wrench is set to «KEY ON».
When the key is set to «KEY OFF», the general hazard warning lamp starts flashing, indicating that the locking system has been activated. To reduce battery consumption, this indicator stops flashing after 48 hours.
