Attention! Before driving, be sure to first check the correct and safe operation of the vehicle. Failure to do so may result in serious injury or damage to the vehicle. If you do not understand how some controls work, or if a problem is detected or suspected, do not hesitate to contact your Aprilia dealer. Verification takes very little time but significantly improves security.


Attention! Depending on the time that has passed since the key was installed in position «Key on» Before starting the engine, the brake light may light up for half a second or not light up.


This vehicle is programmed to display in real time all operating faults stored in the electronic control unit.

Each time the ignition key is turned to «KEY ON», the warning light on the instrument panel comes on for approximately 3 seconds.

Front and rear disc brakesCheck your work. Check the free play of the brake handle in parking and the brake fluid level. Check for leaks. Check the brake pads for wear. Add brake fluid if necessary.
Throttle handleMake sure that the throttle grip operates smoothly and that the throttle can be fully opened and closed in all positions of the steering column. Adjust and/or lubricate as necessary.
Engine oilCheck and/or add if necessary
Wheels/tiresMake sure the tires are in good condition. Check tire pressure, tire wear and possible damage. Remove any foreign objects stuck in the tread.
Brake handlesCheck their smooth operation. Lubricate the joints and, if necessary, adjust the stroke length.
Clutch handleCheck for correct operation. Check the free play of the clutch handle and the fluid level. Check for leaks. Add liquid if required; The clutch should operate without sticking and/or slipping.
SteeringMake sure that the steering wheel turns evenly, smoothly and without signs of play or gaps.
Side support/central support (OPTION)Check for correct operation. Make sure there is no resistance when raising the side support and check that the spring tension is sufficient to lift the support to the retracted position. If necessary, lubricate connections and joints. Check that the safety switch is working correctly.
Fastening elementsMake sure the fasteners are securely fastened. Adjust or tighten as necessary.
Drive chainCheck tension.
Fuel tankCheck the level and refill if necessary. Check for leaks or blockages in the circuit. Make sure the tank cap is properly closed.
CoolantThe fluid level in the expansion tank should be between the marks «FULL» and «LOW».
Engine switch (ON (On _) - OFF (Off _))Check your work.
Lighting, warning lights, horn, rear brake light switch and electrical instrumentsCheck the operation of the sound signal and lighting devices. Replace the lamps or repair any faults.
Speed sensorsMake sure the speed sensors are completely clean and in good condition.
