Do not carry objects on the top fairing (between the steering wheel and the instrument panel), so that the steering wheel always rotates freely and the instrument panel is always visible.
Attention!
- Failure to do so may result in loss of consciousness or even death due to suffocation.
- Exhaust gases contain carbon monoxide, a substance that is very harmful if inhaled.
- Do not run the engine in closed or poorly ventilated areas.
Attention! If the side stand is down, the engine can only be started in neutral. If you try to shift into gear in this condition, the engine will stop. With the side support removed, the engine can be started in neutral or with the gear engaged and the clutch lever depressed.
Sit on the motorcycle in riding position.
Make sure the support is completely retracted.
Make sure the light switch (1) is in the low beam position.
Install the engine switch (2) to working position.
Turn the key (3) and set the ignition switch to position «ON».
Wherein:
- The multifunction display shows the ignition screen for 2 seconds.
- All warning lights on the instrument panel come on for 2 seconds (4) and backlight.
- Arrow tachometer (5) goes down the scale, and after 3 seconds returns to the minimum value.
- In normal driving mode, the current value is immediately displayed on the instrument panel.
Attention! If the low fuel warning light on your dashboard comes on, refuel your vehicle as soon as possible.
Attention! On new vehicles, the maximum speed warning threshold is set at 6000 rpm. As you master the vehicle, gradually increase this threshold.
Brake at least one wheel by pressing the brake handle.
Fully depress the clutch handle (7) and install the gear shift lever (8) to neutral (green indicator light is on «N» (9)).
The vehicle is equipped with a starter controlled by a control unit that automatically starts working when necessary (cold start).
Attention!
- To avoid unnecessary battery drain, do not hold down the starter button (2) pressed for more than 10 seconds.
- If the engine does not start within this time, wait 10 seconds and press the starter button again (2).
- Pressing the starter button (2), do not open the gas and release the button immediately after starting the engine.
Attention!
- Do not press the starter button (2) while the engine is running, as this may damage the starter motor.
- If the engine oil pressure icon is displayed and the general warning light is on, the oil pressure in the circuit is too low.
Keep at least one brake lever depressed and increase the speed only to start driving.
Attention! Avoid sudden acceleration when the engine is cold. To minimize air pollution and fuel consumption, warm up the engine by driving the first kilometers at a limited speed.
Attention! If during normal engine operation the (multifunctional) the display shows a message «service», this means that the electronic control unit has detected a problem.
