If necessary, disengage fuel tank and lift at rear.

Disengage the rubber strap holding the battery.

Check the battery fluid level.

Top up the acid level to the «MAX» mark with distilled water.

Grease the battery posts.

Acid proof battery-post grease: e.g. Bosch Ft 40 V1
