Prepare



1. Lift rear of fuel tank. See Lift rear of fuel tank.

Remove



1. See Figure 6-18. Remove breather hoses.
  • a. Remove rear cylinder clamp (1) and hose from rear cylinder.
  • b. Remove front cylinder clamp (2) and hose from front cylinder.
  • c. Remove backplate clamp (3) and hose from air cleaner backplate.
  • d. Remove breather hose assembly from engine.

Install



1. See Figure 6-18. Install breather hoses.
  • a. Install breather hose assembly onto engine.
  • b. Install hose and backplate clamp (3) to air cleaner backplate.
  • c. Install hose and front cylinder clamp (2) to front cylinder.
  • d. Install hose and rear cylinder clamp (1) to rear cylinder.
