Removal
1. Unscrew the brake fluid reservoir cap and remove it.

2. Remove the membrane plate.

3. Remove the membrane.

4. Using a syringe or rubber bulb, remove the brake fluid from the reservoir.

5. Using an 8 mm socket wrench, unscrew the brake fluid reservoir mounting bolt.

6. Using a 12 mm open-end wrench, unscrew the brake hose fitting bolt.

7. Remove the bolt assembly with the fitting and two sealing washers.

8. Remove the right footpeg bracket from the motorcycle together with the brake cylinder, footpegs, rear brake pedal and brake light sensor (see "Footrest brackets - removal and installation").
9. Using pliers, loosen the spring clamp on the brake fluid reservoir hose and move it up the hose.

10. Remove the hose from the cylinder fitting.

11. Using narrow-nose pliers, remove the brake light sensor spring first from the pedal and then from the sensor itself.

12. Remove the boot from the brake light sensor.

13. Rotate the adjusting ring to unscrew the sensor and remove it.

14. Using narrow-jaw pliers, detach the rear brake pedal spring first from the bracket and then from the pedal.

15. Using pliers, remove the cotter pin from the rod end mounting pin.

16. Remove the pin.

17. Using a 5 mm Allen key, unscrew the two bolts securing the brake cylinder.

18. Remove the brake cylinder assembly with the brake light sensor bracket.

19. While holding the rod tip with a 16 mm open-end wrench, loosen the tip lock nut with a 12 mm wrench.

20. Unscrew and remove the tip and lock nut.

Installation
1. Assemble in reverse order.
2. The position of the piston rod tip must be adjusted so that the distance between the centers of the hole on the tip and the lower mounting hole of the cylinder is 67.5 mm.

3. When installing the piston rod end pin, it is recommended to install a new cotter pin to replace the used one.
4. When installing the brake hose in place, use new copper or aluminum sealing washers (marked with arrows in the photo).

Caution! Do not reuse the sealing washers on the brake hose fittings. New washers must be installed at each assembly.
5. Tighten the brake hose fitting mounting bolt to a torque of 35 Nm.
6. After installing the footrest bracket with the brake cylinder on the motorcycle, adjust the correct position of the brake signal sensor by turning the plastic nut. The brake signal should turn on after 3-5 mm of brake pedal travel.
7. After installing all the brake mechanisms, bleed the rear brake circuit (see "Hydraulic brake drive - replacement of brake fluid and bleeding").
