1. Using pliers, remove the rear brake sensor spring.
2. Remove the rubber boot of the sensor.
3. Loosen the nut and unscrew the sensor from the mounting bracket.
Install the sensor in reverse order.
An ohmmeter is required to test the sensor.
We connect the leads of the ohmmeter to the leads of the sensor and check the presence of conductivity with the sensor rod extended. With a recessed stem, there should be no conductivity.
